This ball type dahlia starts blooming pretty early on, seeing prolfic blooms by mid july but starting the end of june in nevada county zone 9a.

this plant is amazing but does need a plan for trelace support 
as the season contines on we are see plants 4'-5' tall with tons and tons of flowers
